This is a solid Santa Maria find. It has been a regular in my rotation for over thirty years and I can honestly say Ive never had a bad meal here Consider the Family dinners to go and the Teppan Tables for special occasions.
Always a delicious meal. Only available for take out because of Covid but they will take phone in and walk in orders. The service was fast and friendly. For a top notch sushi restaurant the prices are very reasonable. I have been a frequent customer for over a decade.
Best japanese restaurant in the area, i have been visiting quite a few places around but I always go back to Hamasato. Service is always good, food is affordable and very tasty, the atmosphere is usually quiet and relaxing. If you like sushi and good japanese food this is definitely a place to try

Ive eaten here about a dozen times now. Ill just say the food is very good, exceptionally good for the price. Today I had the chicken hamagozen lunch. It came with miso soup, gyoza, salad, along with tempura shrimp, broccoli, and carrots. All this and green tee for just under 15.
